Noah Eagle, Elle Duncan, Michael Irvin and Luke Kuechly. Netflix announced that lineup for the Melbourne game.

SiriusXM is involved too, but I haven’t found evidence yet that its announcers are physically in Melbourne rather than calling/reporting from elsewhere.

The same goes for Netflix employees: we know Netflix has its people there, but the public reporting doesn’t give us a clean headcount of Netflix production employees versus NFL production employees.

The really interesting piece is that the NFL says up to 200 NFL staff were in Melbourne, including media-production people, with crews working at the MCG for weeks.

So I think your instinct is right: there’s a whole television operation sitting behind what we’re watching that we haven’t identified yet.

Camera operators, TDs, A1/A2s, engineers, utility, EVS, replay, mobile unit, local Australian crew—and exactly who traveled from America.

Yes — that’s exactly where I’d look next. Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn —

people working the show may be posting photos from Melbourne even though the official NFL/Netflix stories don’t name them.

I found evidence that up to 200 NFL staff are in Melbourne, including dozens in media production, and that crews have been working at the MCG for weeks.

What I haven’t found yet is the gold: a camera operator, A1, TD, engineer, EVS, truck company, or Australian crew member actually saying “

“I’m here working the Netflix/NFL game.”

That’s worth hunting down. Those personal posts could answer exactly what you’re asking—who traveled, who was hired locally, and what truck/unit they’re using.
